Finally Ben Spies color his first podium in MotoGP, exactly in Assen, Netherlands on Saturday (25/06/2011) yesterday.

The American who is often described as the 'Alien to Five' became the 'new' first win the MotoGP championship since Andrea Dovizioso won the rain at Donington in 2009.

The 26-year-old drivers have undergone the race 28 times, dominated the race since the accident at the corner of 4, where Lorenzo and Marco Simoncelli fell and made straight ahead.

The road race

Simoncelli as the holder of the pole can not improve its performance after events have happened, and this time the incident was dragged Lorenzo dropped in the corner to 4. Looks like Honda this time can not melengketkan tires on the track damp. Front tire as if to stick it on the track and he's comfortable with his position to second behind Spies.

Valentino Rossi is in position 4 fight with Cal Crutchlow, who eventually he can not continue the race because of problems with the front tire. And finally Vale in position 4 and followed by teammate, Hayden in fifth position.

In position 6, Lorenzo could eventually improve his position after a fall. Colin Edwards is in position 7 followed by Toni Elias da Hiroshi Aoyama. Simoncelli also finally able to occupy the position 9.
